Construction began on October 11, 2010. The first several months will entail demolition, with the construction of the new green space and parking area to follow. A temporary parking lot has been arranged in the area between Blackmon’s Little Midget and New Dimensions on Market Street to allow for downtown parking.
Construction of the Town Green is scheduled to conclude in late March of 2011.
